Andy

Andy is a master of the six string thing. Well, he should be, he’s been cutting his chops since the time guitar players were gods. He is a founder member, lead guitar player and vocalist with Derbyshire electric rock outfit Crossroads, who have entertained audiences throughout the county for over ten years. He takes his pleasure in the classic rock oeuvre and you can expect to find inspiration from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Clapton and Hendrix in his repertoire.

Phil

Phil ‘The Harp’ was given his first harmonica by a blind bluesman in the Netherlands at the age of ten. He grew up listening to his folks’ old John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry and Beatles albums. When he dug that old harp out of the loft a decade later he knew what he wanted to play.

After Phil was invited to join Crossroads he and Andy decided it would be fun to go out gigging as a duo and DoubleCross was born. We’ve been incredibly busy so far in 2009 and plans for the second half of the year include a whole raft of further gigs and the introduction of some original material currently being written with a view to a CD late 2009/early 2010.
